Tiffany & Co

Tiffany & Co. was founded upon a dream of providing the fancy goods to a discerning crowd who wanted luxury and quality from the products that they purchased. The stock at Tiffany including stunning diamonds, jewelry, fine silver gifts and tableware and other fine goods continues to attract customers, just as they always have for Tiffany & Co since its earlier days.

King Of Diamonds

Charles Lewis Tiffany, who was nicknamed the “King of Diamonds”, and John B. Young opened the Tiffany & Young store in 1837. Located in New York City on Broadway, the store opened as a stationary and fancy good emporium and Charles Tiffany later changed to Tiffany & Co. when he took over the company.

Silver Jewelry And Early Goods

The beautiful silver jewelry pieces from this early era are timeless in their artisanship and vintage jewelry is still popular with many consumers from around the world. Many antique pieces can be found with the original light blue boxes that the item originally came in. The light blue color continues to be used for the packaging from Tiffany & Co.

Early sorts of goods that could be purchased at Tiffany & Co. include silver jewelry, monogrammed dresser sets, presentation bowls, silver cups and saucers for children, silver trays for calling cards, men’s dressing sets and games. Very popular items during the late 1800s were the souvenir spoons, which were made by Tiffany & Co. and many other manufacturers.
